Divye Anand Gupta is a Data Scientist at Amazon with a passion for data science and machine learning. He completed his Masters in Business Analytics Program at Purdue University, where he honed his skills in data science and developed a strong business acumen. Divye has worked with startups and large corporations, including Tagbin, Snapdeal, and Deloitte, where he has gained experience in product development, business management, finance, and team building. At Amazon, Divye works on projects in the Applied AI domain, where he has developed a machine learning model using XGBoost to predict the probability of successful DSR on package contact. He has also developed a coaching tool based on the probability of success to highlight low performing agents. Divye has experience in SARIMA-X and XG-Boost models for forecasting call volume and has classified agent notes into actionable intents for improving call routing using NLP techniques. Divye completed his undergraduate degree in Production and Industrial Engineering from IIT Roorkee, where he led a team of 25 engineers to achieve AIR 5th with the best aesthetic robot award in the national-level robotic competition, "Robocon."
